Privacy Policy
Effective: August 7, 2026Last updated: October 7, 2026
Frame Perfect LLC ("Frame Perfect," "we," "us") operates the FramePerfect iPhone app and the web service at frameperfect.co (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. What we collect
Account information
Your email address and a password. Passwords are stored as a cryptographic hash — we never see or store the password itself. If you subscribe, our payment processor handles your card details; we receive only a subscription status and the last four digits.
Property information you enter
The street address you type when you start a shoot, and any room labels you apply. If you are shooting against a booking from a connected platform, the booking reference associated with that shoot.
For builder accounts, the Service also names the room shown in each finished photo automatically (for example, "Kitchen" or "Primary Suite"), along with short notes about visible features. Account Owners and Marketing users can change any room name, and a name set by a person is never overwritten.
Photographs and capture metadata
The bracketed frames you capture and the finished photos we produce from them. Alongside each set we record technical capture data: exposure values, ISO, shutter speed, lens and zoom, image dimensions, whether the device was steady, and the time of capture. This metadata drives the image processing and helps us diagnose failed sets.
Device and usage information
Device model and operating system version, app version, IP address, and server logs of requests to the Service, including timestamps and error records. We use these to operate the Service and investigate problems.
Builder websites and messages from home buyers
Builder accounts can publish community and home web pages through the Service. When a visitor sends a message using the form on one of those pages, we receive and store it on the builder's behalf: the name and email address the visitor enters; any phone number and message they add; their answers to any questions the builder adds to the form; whether they agreed to calls and texts; the page it was sent from; the time; and the version of the consent wording shown. We also keep basic delivery and handling records: which members of the builder's team were emailed, whether each email was sent, and who marked a message as handled. We do not store the visitor's IP address; we keep only a one-way, keyed hash of it to prevent abuse. The form itself sets no cookies. The message is emailed to the builder's sales team members for that community, or to the builder's company email when no one is assigned, and it appears in the builder's team dashboard. The builder decides how the message is used, and the builder's own privacy policy, linked from the form, governs that use.
When someone signs a Builder Services Agreement on our signing page, we record their name, title and email address, the date and time, and the network address and browser used, and we keep that record with the signed agreement.
What we do not collect. We do not collect your contacts, your photo library, your precise device location, or your browsing activity on other apps and sites. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not run advertising in the Service.
2. How we use it
- To operate the Service — receive your captures, merge and finish them, store the results, and deliver them.
- To pass messages that visitors send from a builder's web pages to that builder, and to protect those forms from abuse.
- To maintain your account, entitlements, and billing.
- To diagnose failures, improve image quality, and improve the app.
- To communicate with you about your account, your shoots, service changes, and support requests.
- To enforce our Terms of Service and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Your photos
You own your photographs. Nothing in this policy transfers copyright. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, transmit, and display your photographs strictly for the purpose of operating the Service and delivering your work.
We also request permission to use a limited selection of finished photographs in Frame Perfect marketing materials, such as our website and app listing. If you would prefer we not use your work this way, email us at support@frameperfect.co and we will exclude your account. We will not identify a property address or an occupant in marketing use.
Automatic room naming (builder accounts). To name rooms automatically, we send a reduced-size copy of each finished photo from a builder account to our AI provider, Anthropic. Anthropic processes the photo only to return a room name and feature notes to us. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not train its models on this content and deletes it from its systems within 30 days, except where it must keep it longer to enforce its usage policies. Photos from non-builder accounts are sent only when we name a house at our own request for support or quality purposes.
We do not use your photographs to train machine learning models, and we do not license or sell them to third parties.
4. How long we keep things
Storage is not unlimited, and retention windows are part of how the Service is priced. These windows are enforced automatically.
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Source bracketed frames | Deleted approximately three days after the finished photos are delivered. Frames are only deleted once a successful output exists — a failed or stuck set keeps its frames so it stays recoverable. Builder accounts follow the builder rows below. |
| Finished photos and the completed house | Thirty days from delivery, then permanently deleted. Builder accounts follow the builder rows below. |
| Builder account photos | Kept for the length of the builder's contract, including print-resolution copies. After the contract ends, they remain available to export for 30 days, then are permanently deleted. |
| Source bracketed frames for builder houses | Kept for thirty days after delivery, then deleted. |
| Room names and feature notes | Kept with the photo they describe, and deleted with it. |
| Messages from builder website forms | Kept for as long as the builder's account is open, and deleted when that account is deleted. The builder can also delete a message at any time. |
| Abuse-prevention counters | Expire within 24 hours. |
| Share links | Fourteen days from creation, then they stop working. |
| Account information | For as long as your account is open. |
| Billing records | As long as required by tax and accounting law. |
| Server logs | A limited period for security and troubleshooting. |
Download your work before it expires. Deletion is permanent and we cannot recover deleted photographs. It is your responsibility to download finished photos, and to ensure your client has downloaded theirs, within the retention window.
If your shoot is delivered to a connected platform that your client subscribes to, that platform holds its own copy under its own terms, and this policy does not govern it.
5. Who we share with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only as needed:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and file storage |
| Vercel | Application and website hosting |
| Modal | Image processing, including print-resolution photos and photo straightening |
| Anthropic | Automatic room naming for builder account photos |
| Cloudflare | Storing and serving published builder web pages and the photos on them, connecting builders' own web addresses to those pages, and receiving messages sent from them. If a builder turns it on, Cloudflare also checks that the sender is a person. |
| Upstash | Short-lived abuse-prevention counters that hold no personal details. |
| Resend | Account emails, such as password resets and team invitations, and notices to builders of messages sent from their web pages. |
| Stripe | Subscription and payment processing |
| Google Workspace | Email correspondence with you |
| Apple | App distribution. |
We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
6. Share links
When you send a share link, anyone holding that link can view and download the photographs behind it until the link expires. There is no account or password on the recipient side — that is a deliberate design choice so your client does not have to sign up for anything.
The practical consequence is that a share link should be treated like a key. Send it only to the intended recipient. Once you have shared photographs with someone, what they do with them is outside our control and is addressed in our Terms of Service.
7. Security
Photographs are stored in private storage buckets, not on the public internet, and are served through time-limited authenticated URLs. Traffic to and from the Service is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited. Photos and text that a builder publishes on its web pages are public: anyone who visits the page can see them.
No service can promise perfect security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email support@frameperfect.co from the address on your account.
- Delete your account. Ask us and we will close it and delete your data, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons. Photographs are deleted from our systems immediately, not at the end of the retention window. Any copies held by our service providers are deleted under their own retention periods.
- Marketing use. Ask us to exclude your photographs at any time.
- Emails. Service and account emails are part of using the Service. Any promotional email will carry an unsubscribe link.
- Messages sent through a builder's web page. If you sent a message using the form on a builder's web page, we hold it on that builder's behalf. To access, correct or delete it, contact the builder. You can also email support@frameperfect.co and tell us which builder's page you used, and we will pass your request to that builder.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
9. Children
The Service is a professional tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Where data is processed
Frame Perfect LLC operates from Texas, United States. Our providers store data in the United States, and some processing, such as automatic room naming, may take place in other countries. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and those other countries. Published builder web pages are delivered through Cloudflare's global network, so a page may be served from a location near the visitor.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will revise the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised policy.
